Signexa Broadcast offers the Lawo 981/61 RAVENNA Card for hire. This card adds RAVENNA AoIP networking to a Nova73 HD or Nova73 Compact frame, connecting your routing core directly into an IP based broadcast infrastructure.

RAVENNA connectivity for your Nova73 core

The 981/61 fits the Nova73 platform and provides a single RAVENNA network port. A single port can connect to either one 128 channel or two 64 channel DALLIS frames, giving you flexible IP based I/O expansion without adding further MADI or AES hardware. RAVENNA itself runs over standard Gigabit Ethernet infrastructure, using either copper or, with the right certified module, optical fibre.

As an open AoIP standard, RAVENNA supports sampling rates up to 192kHz and 24 bit audio, so the 981/61 gives your Nova73 system the bandwidth and quality headroom for high end broadcast audio over IP. It fits both Nova73 HD and Nova73 Compact frames, so the same card hires across either chassis depending on your production’s core configuration.
